Two More Michigan Residents Arrested For Capitol Terrorist Riot Fri, 19 Mar 2021 06:00:32 EDT
Two more Michigan residents are now facing federal charges in connection with the Capitol terrorist riot in early January.
Both men from Macomb County are facing multiple charges, including trespassing on the Capitol and disorderly conduct.
Daniel Herendeen of Chesterfield Township and 39-year old Robert Schornak of Roseville were arrested Thursday. Three other men from Michigan have been charged including Michael Foy of Wixom who is accused of beating police with a hockey stick. A judge has denied Foy's request to be released pending his case.
His attorney says Foy was not the aggressor, but was merely attempting to stop people from being trampled.
