Seasonally unadjusted unemployment rates fell in all 17 of Michigan’s regional labor market areas during February, according to data released from the Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget.
Michigan regional jobless rates in February ranged from 4.2 to 8.6 percent. Rate decreases were from 0.6 to 1.6 percent with a median decline of one full percent. The Northeast Lower Michigan region demonstrated the most pronounced over-the-month rate cut.

Alpena County - 5 point 8
Otsego County- 7 point 4
Alcona and Iosco Counties - 7 point 6
Oscoda County - 8 point 7
Presque Isle County - 9 point 6
Montmorency County - 10 point 2
and Cheboygan County - 13 point 9
