Officials say that ACC solicited bids for 581 replacement classroom chairs. The current classroom chairs in the Besser Technical Center, Natural Resources Center, and World Center for Concrete Technology were purchased in the late 1990s and have reached the end of their us able life.

Two bids were received for the replacement chairs and the low bid from Traverse City Company, Custer, Inc., met the specifications.

So, the college approved the bid for almost 83 thousand dollars ($82,504).
