Rogers City Council Approves Zoning Variance

Following an appeal hearing, the Rogers City Council approved of a zoning variance request on behalf of a homeowner.

The owner on Birchwood Street wanted to construct a lean to onto an accessory building which would have exceeded size limits which have already been exceeded, and would be a modification that would increase non conformity.

But the property was two and a half acres in size and total footprint of structures was minimal in comparison.

City Manager Joe Hefele felt there was no harm to anyone's property values or quality of life by granting the request, and the council concurred.
