COVID Reaching Record Numbers

Over the past 3 days, Michigan has reported more than 44-thousand-500 new Cornavirus cases and over 50 deaths.

That's an average of more than 14- thousand-800 cases over the past three days.

That brings the total number of cases in Michigan to over 1-million-600. Testing has increased to around 50 to 60- thousand diagnostic tests reported per day on average.

Hospitalizations are also on the rise, surpassing December's all time high record. According to state data, over 49-hundred (4,901) inpatients were in hospitals statewide as of Monday (10), with confirmed or suspected COVID-19, breaking the previous record of over 47 hundred (4,721), set on Dec. 12, 2021.

Across Michigan's entire population, about 63-percent have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
