Following a recent school shooting, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel has developed a new video that reiterates the seriousness of making threats against schools, and outlines possible punishments for those who make school threats.

The Michigan Department of Education will be sharing the video with school districts for awareness and distribution.

There were more than 70-copycat threats against schools across the state following the November 30th Oxford High School shooting killing four students and injuring seven others.

Threats also resulted in many schools being closed, including Alpena and others in Northeast Lower Michigan.
