AMA-ESD Superintendent Scott Reynolds Submits Resignation

The School Board of Alpena-Montmorency-Alcona Educational Service District (AMA
ESD) received and accepted a letter of resignation from AMA ESD Superintendent
Scott Reynolds effective June 30, 2022 during the monthly meeting on Thursday (13).

AMA ESD Board President Lee Fitzpatrick saying "Superintendent Reynolds consistently scored highly effective in his annual evaluations. He will be difficult to replace, we wish him the very best in whatever his future endeavors may be.

The AMA ESD board will begin the process of finding a candidate to fill the position, and more information will be provided to the community on the Superintendent search as it becomes available.
The AMA ESD, one of 57 Intermediate School Districts that were established in
Michigan in 1962, serves Alpena, Montmorency, and Alcona Counties. The mission of
AMA Educational Service District is to promote a culture of educational excellence for
our local districts through effective communication, advocacy, and high-quality rograms
and services.
