Great Lakes Water Levels Lower Sat, 21 May 2022 06:02:00 EDT
Just a couple years after major flooding and erosion along the Great Lakes, it appears water levels have normalized.
The latest forecast from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers shows Lakes Michigan, Huron, and others are above their long term average levels, but well below record high levels we saw two years ago.
Lake Superior's water level should remain near average.
Experts say levels follow a seasonal pattern with a rise in the Spring due to snowmelt and rain.
