Alpena Fireworks Fundraising - Over The Top

After a last minute blitz of activity, Alpena Chamber of Commerce officials say the fireworks fundraising effort has gone over the top of a 23-thousand dollar goal.

After a sales event on Friday that raised a thousand dollars, and with last minute contributions, a total of 24-thousand had been raised.

Alisha Bouchard, Director of Events for the Alpena Area Chamber of Commerce says that amount will be used for this years show. There are still some bracelets at the Alpena Chamber offices on Chisholm Street and anything beyond Fridays total will be used in 2023.
