RC Signs Up Membership With Utility Lobby Firm

City of Rogers City officials have moved forward to renew a membership with a lobbying firm.

PROTEC, is a non-profit organization that lobbies on behalf of, and assists communities with issues associated with telecommunications. That includes fighting for local control over things like small cellphone towers in street rights-of-way.

The city become a member last year, and there was 3-hundred-54 dollars ($354.00) budgeted for membership this year.
