Man Killed In Single Vehicle Auto Crash Identified

Presque Isle County Sheriff Deputies continue to investigate a single vehicle auto crash where a man lost his life Sunday.

Authorities identified the man as 52 year old Eric Wolgast of Rogers City.

Police were called to the intersection of Kuffel Road and Clinton Lake Highway and upon arrival, deputies found an unresponsive male subject. Along with Posen Fire and Rescue, efforts were made to rescue the man who was declared deceased at the scene.

Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash which remains under investigation.

Also assisting at the scene were Rogers City and Michigan State Police, and Rogers City Ambulance.
