A new survey of Michigan residents shows many are less concerned about the coronavirus now than in March, April and May.

The poll of one-thousand residents by TargetPoint Consulting found 40-percent of adults are less concerned about the virus today than a month ago, even though the number of cases is rising. 17-percent said they were more concerned than before.

The survey also found that nearly half of the state’s population were “conflicted, confused or casual” with respect to following health and safety guidelines, while the other half said they were “committed” to following health and safety protocols.
