Survey Finds Teens Value their Cell Phone Privacy - But Most Parents Snoop

With school out for summer, the rise of social distancing, and the rise of social media apps like TikTok, teens are spending more time on their phones than ever before.

With this in mind, the team at WhistleOut.com conducted a survey asking parents and teens all about the secrets they keep from each other on their phones. They found that 64% of parents admitted to looking at their teen's phones

They also found that 62% of teens admit they hide at least some of what they do on their phones from their parents and 54% of teens said they’d rather go a week without their phone than let their parents look through their device.
