Thu, 30 Jul 2020 06:00:24 EDT

A new survey finds that 2 in 3 Michigan residents do not expect to spend Christmas with their family this year.

Respondents say that if the Coronavirus pandemic continues through to next year, 28% say they would feel safer having a ‘virtual’ Christmas than seeing extended family in person for the holiday season.

1 in 10 Americans say they expect to go into debt due to Christmas costs this year, yet 47% of people say they would break the rules to see family if a lockdown was imposed over Christmas time.
