STATEWIDE SPORTS

Tom Brady led a 13 point fourth quarter comeback last night against the New Orleans Saints 17-16. That was Brady’s 44th 4th quarter comeback, which is a new NFL record, surpassing Peyton Manning’s record of 43. It was also his 56th game winning drive, which is also a record. Fun fact; The last time the Bucs swept the saints in the regular season was 2007.

With the NCAA transfer portal officially open several Michigan and Michigan State players put in for a change of scenery including three Spartans defensive linemen and Michigan Tight End Erick All, whose season was ended by injury during their current run.

Grand Rapids Michigan is getting a Pro Volleyball team the upstart womens league announced its first franchise and it'll be on the West side of the state. The same operators of the Grand Rapids Griffins will run the organization and hold a name the team contest.

And the Tigers finalized their 2023 staff with Gary Jones switching from 1st to 3rd base coach Alfredo Amezaga takes his old spot. Also replacing their strength & conditioning performance coach.

And the Red Wings have another game tonight, this time on the road against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Face off is at 7 p.m.
