STATEWIDE SPORTS

The Pistons lose again, this time to the Utah Jazz, 126-111. Detroit was outscored by 14 in the second half despite a career high 30 points by rookie Jaden Ivey. Detroit has another game tonight, against the Philadelphia 76ers at 7 p.m.

Eastern Michigan football scored 33 unanswered points after being down 13-0 in the first quarter of the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl the 41-27 win is their 2nd bowl victory in program history both of them coming against San Jose State. Three of the Eagles' scores came on the ground in Boise.

Michigan Football grabbed former Indiana QB Jack Tuttle from the transfer portal after losing multiple signal callers to the portal, including last year's starter Cade McNamara to Iowa.

Michigan State alum Matt Ishbia reportedly put up $4 Billion dollars as the winning bid to buy the Phoenix Suns.

Speaking of basketball, Michigan and Michigan State basketball are back on the court today. The Spartans game will be at 6:30 p.m. against Oakland, while Michigan’s game will be against North Carolina at 7 p.m.

And the Red Wings are back on the ice tonight. They will host the Tampa Bay Lightning at 7 p.m. Detroit is looking for their first win since December 6th, which, incidentally, was against Tampa Bay.
