The Lions finished the season on a high note beating Green Bay on the road, 20-16, knocking the Packers out of the playoffs in the process. They opted for a 4th down conversion instead of giving the ball back to Aaron Rodgers in the final minutes, with Jared Goff completing a pass to DJ Chark to secure the win. Lions RB Jamaal Williams had two rushing touchdowns for the game. That gives him 17 total, which not only leads the league but he also passed Barry Sanders for the franchise record for rushing touchdowns in a season. He also had 1,066 yards for the year, becoming the first Lions running back to rush for over 1,000 yards since Reggie Bush in 2013.

The Lions finish the year at 9-8. This is the Lions first winning season since 2016, and they had a 5-1 record in their division, which is the best among NFC North teams.

Despite the Lions win, Seattle gets the final playoff spot after they beat the Rams earlier in the day, 19-16 in overtime. This means that the 1st round pick owned by Detroit through Los Angeles ends up being Number 6 overall.

The Red Wings weren’t able to win on Friday or Saturday, losing to the Florida Panthers on Friday, 3-2 and to Toronto on Saturday 4-1. This drops the Red Wings record to 16-15-7. Their next game will be tomorrow night against the Winnipeg Jets at 7 p.m.

The Pistons were not able to handle the 76ers in downtown Detroit, falling 123-111 Killian Hayes tying a career-high with 26 points in the loss, they're 11-32 on the season. The Pistons have another game against the Sixers tomorrow night at 7 p.m.

The College Football season wraps up tonight as TCU faces off against the defending national champion Georgia Bulldogs for the title. Georgia is looking to repeat as champions for the first time in school history, while TCU is looking for their first national title since 1938. Kickoff is at 7:30.
