Boys Basketball:
Au Gres vs Hillman at 7:30 p.m.

STATEWIDE SPORTS

After losing by 31 the prior evening the Pistons flipped the script and beat the Timberwolves by 17 at home last night, 135-118, with a 36-23 third quarter to run away with their 12th win of the season. Saddiq Bey had a game high 31 points as the team shot 60% to sweep Minnesota in their series. Isaiah Livers returned to the floor for the first time since December 1st off of a shoulder injury. Detroit’s next game will be tomorrow night against New Orleans at 7 p.m.

Tigers president Scott Harris gave his explanations as to why the team decided to alter the dimensions of the Comerica Park outfield moving forward, such as moving the center field wall in by 10 feet. Harris says they took player and fan feedback and studied balls hit before making their Decision.

The Red Wings will have another game tonight. It’s an Original Six matchup with the Toronto Maple Leafs. The last time the Wings beat the Leafs was December 6th, 2018. Face off is at 7 p.m.

Michigan has a basketball game tonight. They will face Iowa at 7 p.m.
