STATEWIDE SPORTS

The Red Wings will play in Washington tonight. 26 year old left winger Jakob Vrana could be in the Wings’ lineup tonight after being out for about two months. Game time is 7 p.m. With the Wings in the playoff hunt, Tyler Bertuzzi has reportedly been pulled off the trading clock.

Michigan State will try to bounce back from Sunday's loss at Michigan, as they host 17th ranked Indiana tonight. The Spartans are favored by two. Tip off is at 9 p.m.

The Tigers with day two of full squad workouts in Lakeland. Their first spring training game is Saturday afternoon in Lakeland against the Phillies.
