Isaiah Livers scored a season high 17 points (including 3 triples) during a short-handed Pistons loss at home the Blazers beat them, 110-104, as the former Wolverine got a chance to play a more prominent role due to injuries. Detroit has now lost 8 in a row, the longest drought of the season. They'll play the second half of a back-to-back tonight against Washington at 7 p.m.

The Tigers lost another spring training game, this time against the Boston Red Sex, 7-1. Detroit’s only score of the day was a home run by Riley Greene. Tigers starter Matt Manning apologized for what he called an accident when he hit Boston star Justin Turner in the face with a pitch during. Turner was taken to the hospital for evaluation and Manning assured that it was unintentional. According to an Instagram story from Turner's wife, Kourtney, he had "16 stitches and a lot of swelling but no fractures & clear scans.” Detroit will have another game this afternoon against the St. Louis Cardinals at around 1 p.m.
