acquire Tampa Bay outfielder Austin Meadows, an all star in 2019 in exchange for
shortstop Isaac Peredes and a competitive balance pick. Meadows, 26 years old,
drove in 106 runs last season for the Rays.

Western Michigan finds their new head basketball coach in State luring away Spartans
assistant Dwayne Stephens after spending 19 years under Tom Izzo in East Lansing.
Stephens played for MSU in the early 90s and then joined the coaching staff back in
2003 he now heads to Kalamazoo.
