The Grand Lake Sportsman Club is hosting their 37th annual Ice Fishing Derby Saturday (February 15th). Various prizes will be awarded in Perch, Pike and Walleye categories. For more information, call Terry McConnell (595-2154).

The local Posen Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation is once again having their annual "Hunter Heritage and Scholarship Banquet. This years event - the 21st - put on by the Presque Isle Turkey Trackers is scheduled for Saturday, February 29th at the Posen Community Center. It features a dinner, auction and other fundraiser activities for various community related projects.
