Round one of the PGA Championship is in the books. Michigan native Ryan Brehm
opening with a 6-over 76 at Southern Hills in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He's currently tied for
122nd going into today with the leader Rory McIlroy at 5-under. Tiger Woods struggled
on his back nine with a 74 to start golfs second major.


Following an off day the Detroit Tigers will play in their second road series of the week
with three games in Cleveland, their first match up against the newly named Guardians.
Tarik Skubal will start tonights game.
Starter Matt Manning had a setback in his rehab outing in the minors where he left with
an illness not related to his shoulder that could push back the possibility of his return to
a battered rotation.


And Michigan States Tom Izzo joined Morten Anderson on his Vegasinsider Podcast
and gave insight on his distaste for Super Conferences, NIL and the Transfer rule.
