A couple of much-needed, big wins for the Tigers as they break out of their offensive
slump and score 21 runs in two games, including yesterdays 7-3 victory that was jump
started by a 3-run Robbie Grossman homerun with 4 total RBI and a couple of walks.
Top prospect Riley Green went 0-for-2 but walked twice in his second big league game
Detroit ends up going (3-7) on their 10-game home stand as they prepare to hit the
road for 8 straight starting in Boston tonight.



In Belmont, Michigan Jennifer Kupcho won a 3-person playoff at Blythefield to take the
LPGA Classic just outside of Grand Rapids defending champion Nelly Korda falling in
the extra holes.



And Michigan football adds a 66 tight end to their 2023 class 3-star Deakon Tonielli
verbally commits to the Wolverines the same weekend that he visited the athletic pass
catcher joining on out of Oswego, Illinois.
