The Stanley Cup Finals have reached a boiling point as the Colorado Avalanche are one win away from their first cup title in over 20 years. They defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning in game 4 last night, 3-2, thanks to a Nazem Kadri goal in overtime. This brings their lead in the series to 3-1. Game 5 takes place on Saturday back in Colorado. Face off is at 8 p.m.

The roster of the Pistons is changing before tonight's draft even happens, sending veteran Jerami Grant to Portland for a future first round pick in 2025 and a 2nd round pick swap. That clears a lot of cap space for possible free agents, which has been a priority for GM Troy Weaver. Detroit will select No. 5 overall in tonight's draft in New York.

After being swept out of Boston, the Tigers have now lost 9 of their last 11 games suffering a 6-2 loss at Fenway last night. AJ Hinch says he believes Tarik Skubal is good enough to bounce back soon after three straight losses in his past 3 outings he gave up all 6 runs in less than 5 innings.

And US Open runner up Will Zalatoris will headline the Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club for the PGA Tours stop in Michigan next month. Tony Finau, Justin Rose, Jason Day and Rickey Fowler were also on the initial list of commitments for the event.
