House Representative Sue Allor, spoke on the House floor Wednesday afternoon (May 2nd), prior to passage of her HB 4667, which would ban the use of vaccine passports in Michigan.

Allor said that the control of one's life based on her vaccination status "frightening".

She added, "It is not something that we as United States citizens should ever consider as acceptable."

However, proponents feel vaccination passports would reignite international travel for business or pleasure, reopen economies, be a motivation to get vaccinated, and allow more access to work opportunities.

Observers note that while the Republican led State House and Senate would likely approve the bill, the Governor signing the bills into law is highly unlikely.
