Michigan Average Gas Price Down Three Cents

The state average price of nearly $3.02 for a gallon of regular gas is down by nearly three cents in the past week, but is 97 cents higher than last year.

After the Memorial Day holiday, overall prices in the country remained flat and saw slight decreases in Northeast Michigan as well.

State prices ranged between $2.65 and $3.49, while the national average was $3.05

As of Sunday evening, Northeast Lower Michigan prices included Alpena, Tawas, and Gaylord at $2.85... Oscoda $2.91... Grayling $3.02... while Cheboygan and Rogers City were $3.09.
