Gas Prices Continue To Increase In Northeast Lower Michigan

The state average price of $2.79 for a gallon of regular gas inched upward by just over a penny in the past week, while taking a large jump in Northeast Lower Michigan. However prices settled back slightly, and the current state average is a dollar 33 higher ($1.32.7) than last year.

State prices ranged from $2.25 and $3.15, while the national average was $2.87.

In a normal trend, Northeast Lower Michigan prices rolled back slightly after a large jump earlier in the week. Prices that are normally wide ranging from various locations were fairly close by weeks end.

As of Sunday evening, prices in the region included Grayling at $2.78... Gaylord at $2.79... Tawas and Alpena at $2.81... Oscoda $2.84... while Cheboygan and Rogers City were $2.89.
