The First Federal of Northeast Michigan Legacy Foundation Presents Checks to Foundations In NE MI

They presented a $1,500 check to Friends Together as one of their first quarter grant recipients, will be used to purchase “Road to Wellness” patient planners to help newly diagnosed individuals navigate their cancer care. A $1,000 check was presented to Sunrise Community Food Pantry as one of their first quarter grant recipients. The money will be used to replenish the food pantry’s food inventory so that they can continue to provide for families in need

Also, a $1,500 check was presented to Partners in Prevention as one of their first quarter grant recipients, which will be used towards Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) workshops. Finally, a $2,000 check to Trinity Episcopal’s Sunday Supper and Food Pantry Feeding Program as one of their first quarter grant recipients. The money will be used towards the purchase of food and serving supplies.
