LWV of Northeast Michigan Holding Virtual Town Hall on Redistricting Process

The League of Women Voters of Northeast Michigan is holding a town hall event in an attempt to educate Michigan voters on the Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission’s process in drawing new legislative and congressional maps as part of the National Day of Action on redistricting.

The virtual town hall will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 22nd via Zoom. Doris Feys and Pauline Buchner, Co-Presidents of the League of Women Voters of Northeast Michigan, will discuss redistricting in Michigan, the commission and opportunities for the public, including Communities of Interest, to provide input to the commission before it draws the maps.
