Lachine Woman Arrested for Assault With a Dangerous Weapon

A Lachine woman was arrested recently for assault with a dangerous weapon.

On Sunday (May 2nd), at around 1:20 a.m., troopers from the Michigan State Police (MSP) Alpena Post responded to a report of a domestic assault in progress at a residence on Bean Creek Road in Long Rapids Township. Troopers were informed the suspect had fled on foot. Upon their arrival, the victim met them outside and had dried blood on his face.

The victim alleged a family member, identified as 30-year-old Ericka Lynn Hill from Lachine, had assaulted him with a barstool during an argument. Troopers learned that Hill had fled to a neighbor’s home where she was taken into custody without incident and lodged in the Alpena County Jail.

Hill was arraigned in the 88th District Court in Alpena and is being charged with one count Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. Hill’s next scheduled court appearance is on May 19th at 2 p.m.
